Accommodation

The accommodation we provide is designed to make our residents feel comfortable in their surroundings. We actively encourage residents to decorate their room with their own belongings to promote a sense of familiarity. We have a selection of tastefully decorated bedrooms, most are en-suite, all have nurse call, TV and telephone points.

We have a choice of four lounges and two dining rooms for residents to use, offering a relaxed and homely environment in which to enjoy mealtimes, watch television, listen to music or to receive visitors. We also have a lovely south facing paved sun terrace in which to take in the wonderful views. There is a four person shaft lift which serves all floors.

The home now boasts its very own hairdressing salon, which is available for residents to visit every day.

We offer a tempting and varied menu of home cooked food, freshly prepared from locally sourced produce where possible. Individual tastes are taken into consideration and all special diets can be catered for.

The cuisine at Chelfham House is all locally sourced and freshly prepared each day. Our chef provides a varied and balanced menu and happily caters for special diets and preferences, where requested. Fresh fruit and vegetables from our local suppliers are offered daily.
